How We Started

Bangors Organic is a 5 acre horticultural holding and is one of only three Soil Association certified B&B's in the UK. Using almost no fossil fuels in the garden or the house we seek to offer eco friendly, sustainable food production and accommodation, with an 11kw wind turbine providing energy to the house and Neil providing most of the energy for the gardens.
Ideally placed a mile from the coastal footpath on the spectacular north Cornish coast, with Widemouth Bay surfing beach close by, and Tintagel, Boscastle and Bude just a short drive or bus ride away. We can provide safe storage for surfing gear and bikes
The carefully restored Victorian house has 2 spacious ensuite rooms with large windows overlooking the gardens and the cliffs towards the sea, antique beds and enormous luxurious bathrooms with freestanding baths and separate showers. There is also a guest's sitting room with BT vision Freeview and recorder, DVD player with a large collection of DVD’s for you to enjoy, books, guide books, maps local information and bus timetables. Guests have access at all times to a free Wi Fi service.
Dinner is available most evenings in our small licensed organic restaurant, using all our own freshly harvested produce. The organic gardens are extensive and fully stocked all year round with delicious seasonal vegetables, salads and fruits.
Comfort is assured with underfloor heating throughout the house powered by electric from our wind turbine, with any imported energy being 100% renewable electricity from Good Energy We also offer free electric for guests’ electric vehicles from our onsite car charging point.
We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
